Gentle guidance for good times together.

We’re so happy to welcome you to Space Of Hearts. These house rules help ensure that everyone has a positive and safe experience in our space. Please take a moment to read through them.

Inclusivity & Respect

Space Of Hearts is an inclusive, multicultural, and welcoming space for all. We ask that everyone treats each other with kindness and respect. This includes being mindful of all cultures, identities, and lived experiences. We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of disrespectful behavior. Please remember: we’re here to support each other. If you ever feel uncomfortable or witness anything harmful, let us know.

Respect for the Space

Space Of Hearts is a place for creativity, experimentation, and artistic expression. We understand that accidents and spills happen – and that’s perfectly okay! Please just let us know if anything occurs so we can take care of it.We kindly ask that you treat the space, furniture, and equipment with care. If you move anything around (like tables or chairs), please return it to its original layout unless we’ve agreed on something else. If any damage occurs, please inform us immediately. You may be responsible for repair or replacement if caused by negligence.

Access & Timing

Access is only permitted during the times we’ve agreed upon in advance. Early arrival or late departure can impact other bookings, so please plan accordingly.

Clean-Up & Waste

Please leave the space as you found it. A little help with basic cleaning (like sweeping, wiping surfaces, and tidying up) would be greatly appreciated.

 

We ask that you separate your waste according to Berlin’s recycling rules. There are bins provided for your convenience.

Noise & Neighbor Awareness

Please be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evening. Loud music or amplified sound is only allowed with prior approval, so please check with us beforehand.

Use of Equipment

Feel free to use studio furniture and standard supplies respectfully. If you need access to specialty tools, tech, or materials, please ask in advance.

Food & Drinks

The tea kitchen is available for light food prep. Please clean up thoroughly after use.

We are a non-alcoholic space. We encourage you to experience the space without alcohol, as this helps create a clear and mindful environment for everyone. If you would like to serve alcohol, please ask for permission in advance. Exceptions to this may be made by the founders, but it’s always good to check first.

We ask that you refrain from cooking or heating food with open flames inside the space.

Safety & Fire Regulations

Please keep exits clear at all times. Fire extinguishers are to be found in two opoosite corners of the main room.

 

Smoking is not allowed inside the space, so please step outside if you wish to smoke.

Guests & Children

Children are more than welcome, but we kindly ask that they are supervised by an adult at all times.

 

The maximum capacity for seated guests at the space is 24 , so please plan accordingly. 

Pets

Pets are welcome but should be kept on a leash (if not otherwise stated) and under supervision at all times.

Use by Third Parties

If you are hosting an event for someone else or inviting external facilitators, please let us know in advance. All third-party users must agree to these house rules.

Art & Exhibitions

If you’re hosting an exhibition, please coordinate the installation and de-installation of artwork with us in advance.

 

Please avoid drilling or making permanent alterations to the walls unless we’ve previously agreed on this.

 

Any sales arrangements must be made separately in writing.

Security & Surveillance

Please be aware that for safety and security purposes, we have surveillance cameras in common areas such as the entrance and main studio. These cameras are not actively monitored but are used to ensure the well-being of all visitors and to protect the space. By entering the premises, you acknowledge and consent to this.

Personal Belongings

We kindly ask that you take care of your personal belongings. We cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen items, so please make sure to keep track of your things.
